Igueste es un pequeño pueblo costero y los lugareños son muy amables. Encontré una de las 2 tiendas, muy cerca de la villa, puedes comprar frutas, verduras, refrescos, cerveza y vino. La villa tiene 3 cuartos de baño completos, dos arriba junto a los dormitorios y uno abajo junto a la terraza de la piscina. La piscina no es enorme pero la uso todos los días y está climatizada. El mar está directamente frente a la villa, vista ininterrumpida, sin embargo, la pequeña playa a la derecha no se puede ver desde la terraza, vale la pena encontrarla ya que la costa frente a la villa es rocosa. Baja a la zona de baño de la playa. El mar estaba cálido y claro, cuidado con los niños ya que la corriente es fuerte cerca de la orilla. Dos cocinas bien equipadas y una barbacoa. Usamos la lavadora, sencilla, y secamos la ropa en el techo donde hay un tendedero. Sólo usamos la sauna una vez y se calentó muy rápido. Nos dejaron una botella de vino y algunos ingredientes de la despensa como sal y pimienta, té/café y cubitos de hielo. Un montón de toallas de baño y para la piscina/playa. El estacionamiento es una suerte, pero puedes descargar en la cima de la colina y luego mover el auto, siempre conseguiste un lugar y solo una vez estuvo a una corta distancia a pie. El pueblo está sobre un acantilado, hay muchos pequeños senderos y escalones, pero disfrutamos paseando porque está bien iluminado por la noche. Loli se comunicó con nosotros vía WhatsApp, respondiendo dudas y siendo útil. Rueben nos recibió y nos ayudó con nuestros casos, un joven amigable que hablaba suficiente inglés para nuestras necesidades. Dormimos con la puerta del dormitorio abierta y no entraban insectos solo los sonidos del mar. Muchos lagartos que disfrutaron mirando pero no entraron. Hay mucho que explorar en Tenerife: montañas de volcanes, bosques, playas, recorridos para delfines y ballenas, kayak de mar y windsurf en El Médano. Esta pequeña joya de lugar no es adecuada para personas con problemas de movilidad. Leí todas las reseñas antes de reservar y he abordado los problemas que otras personas han planteado desde mi propia perspectiva, y recomiendo encarecidamente Guacimara.

Igueste ist ein kleines Küstendorf und die Einheimischen sind sehr freundlich. Ich habe einen der beiden Geschäfte ganz in der Nähe der Villa gefunden, in dem man Obst, Gemüse, alkoholfreie Getränke, Bier und Wein kaufen kann. Die Villa verfügt über drei komplette Duschräume, zwei oben bei den Schlafzimmern und eines unten bei der Poolterrasse. Der Pool ist nicht riesig, aber ich habe ihn jeden Tag genutzt und er ist beheizt. Das Meer liegt direkt vor der Villa, freie Sicht, allerdings kann man den kleinen Strand auf der rechten Seite von der Terrasse aus nicht sehen, er ist einen Besuch wert, da die Küste vor der Villa felsig ist. Stufen hinunter zum Badebereich am Strand. Das Meer war warm und klar, Vorsicht mit Kindern, da die Strömung in Ufernähe stark ist. Zwei gut ausgestattete Küchen und ein Grill. Wir nutzten die einfache Waschmaschine und trockneten die Kleidung auf dem Dach, wo es eine Leine gibt. Wir haben die Sauna nur einmal genutzt und sie hat sich sehr schnell erwärmt. Eine Flasche Wein und einige Zutaten aus dem Vorratsschrank wie Salz und Pfeffer, Tee/Kaffee und Eiswürfel blieben für uns übrig. Es gibt jede Menge Badehandtücher und welche für den Pool/Strand. Parken ist Glückssache, aber man kann oben auf dem Hügel ausladen und dann das Auto bewegen, hat immer einen Platz bekommen und war nur einmal nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Das Dorf liegt auf einer Klippe, es gibt viele kleine Wege und Stufen, aber wir haben es genossen, herumzuschlendern, da es nachts gut beleuchtet ist. Loli kommunizierte über WhatsApp mit uns, beantwortete Fragen und war hilfsbereit. Rueben hat uns empfangen und uns bei unseren Fällen geholfen, ein freundlicher junger Mann mit ausreichend Englischkenntnissen für unsere Bedürfnisse. Wir schliefen bei offener Schlafzimmertür und es kamen keine Insekten herein, nur das Rauschen des Meeres. Viele Eidechsen, die gerne zusahen, aber nicht hineinkamen. Auf Teneriffa gibt es so viel zu entdecken – Vulkanberge, Wälder, Strände, Delfin-/Waltour, Seekajakfahren und Windsurfen in El Medano. Dieses kleine Juwel von einem Ort ist nicht für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität geeignet. Ich habe alle Bewertungen vor der Buchung gelesen und die Probleme, die andere Leute angesprochen haben, aus meiner eigenen Perspektive angesprochen, und ich kann Guacimara wärmstens empfehlen

Igueste is a tiny coastal village and the locals are very friendly. I found one of the 2 shops, very close to villa, you can buy fruit, veg, soft drinks, beer and wine. The villa has 3 full shower rooms, two upstairs by the bedrooms and one down by the pool terrace. The pool isn’t huge but I used it every day and it is heated. The sea is directly in front of the villa, uninterrupted view, however the small beach to the right you can’t see from the terrace, it’s worth finding as the shoreline in front of the villa is rocky. Steps down to the beach swimming area. The sea was warm and clear, beware with children as the current is strong near the shore. Two well equipped kitchens and a BBQ. We used the washing machine, simple, and dried clothes on the roof where there is a line. We only used the sauna once and it heated very quickly. A bottle of wine was left for us and some store cupboard ingredients like salt and pepper, tea/coffee, ice cubes. Plenty bathroom towels and ones for the pool/beach. Parking is pot luck but you can unload at the top of hill then move the car, always got a spot and only once was it a short walk away. The village is on a cliff, lots of little paths and steps but we enjoyed strolling around as it’s well lit at night. Loli communicated with us via WhatsApp, answering questions and being helpful. Rueben met us and helped with our cases, friendly young man with enough English for our needs. We slept with the bedroom door open and no insects came in only the sounds of the sea. Lots of lizards which enjoyed watching but they didn’t come inside. So much to explore on Tenerife- volcano mountains, forests, beaches, dolphin/whale tour, sea kayaking and windsurfing at El Medano. This wee gem of a place is not suited to people with mobility issues. I read all the reviews before booking and have addressed issues other people have raised with my own perspective, and I highly recommend Guacimara

Este es un lugar especial. Guacimara House es un poco viejo con todo lo que necesita para unas vacaciones relajantes. La casa es una de las casas más grandes situadas sobre el mar en un pequeño pueblo a 25 minutos al este de Santa Cruz. Está lejos de las multitudes de turistas regulares, pero en 15 minutos puede llegar a la playa más hermosa de Tenerife. Este es tu lugar, si quieres encontrar un lugar tranquilo, ideal para familias. Loki fue un excelente anfitrión y se encargó de todo lo que necesitábamos durante nuestra maravillosa estancia.

Dies ist ein besonderer Ort. Das Guacimara House ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bietet alles, was Sie für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigen. Das Haus ist eines der größten Häuser über dem Meer in einem kleinen Dorf 25 Minuten östlich von Santa Cruz. Es liegt weit abseits der üblichen Touristenmassen, aber innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichen Sie den schönsten Strand Teneriffas. Wenn Sie einen ruhigen Ort suchen, der perfekt für Familien geeignet ist, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Loki war ein außergewöhnlich toller Gastgeber und kümmerte sich während unseres wundervollen Aufenthalts um alles, was wir brauchten.

This is a special place. Guacimara House is a little aged with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The house is one of the largest homes situated above the sea in a small village 25min east of Santa Cruz. It is far off the regular tourist crowds, but within 15min, you can reach the most beautiful beach of Tenerife. This is your place, if you want to find a quite place, perfectly suited for families. Loki was an extraordinarily great host and took care of everything we needed during our wonderful stay.

Las fotos están tomadas desde nuestro balcón. Una casa muy amplia de 1 planta donde se ubican los dormitorios, la cocina y el salón. Hermosa terraza con todos los adornos (pequeña cocina con mesa de bar con sillas de bar, piscina pequeña climatizada, sauna, tumbonas con colchón, terraza cubierta y terraza muy "grande" abierta con vistas al mar y la montaña. Toallas de baño grandes se proporcionan, pero también pequeños ... no hay nada que no tengan 😁 Es un pueblo tranquilo con habitantes amables, puedes comprar vino tinto local y hay una pequeña tienda.
No se puede llegar aquí sin un coche. Para llegar a la casa primero habrá que superar cien escalones, pero esto no estuvo nada mal y fue bueno para nuestro físico.
Si quieres estar tranquilo, este es muy recomendable frente al sur de Tenerife donde hay turismo de masas y mucho ruido nocturno.
No se puede llegar aquí sin un coche. Para llegar a la casa primero habrá que superar cien escalones, pero esto no estuvo nada mal y fue bueno para nuestro físico.
Si quieres estar tranquilo, este es muy recomendable frente al sur de Tenerife donde hay turismo de masas y mucho ruido nocturno.

Fotos wurden von unserem Balkon aus gemacht. Ein sehr geräumiges Haus mit einer Etage, in der sich Schlafzimmer, Küche und Wohnzimmer befinden. Schöne Terrasse mit allem Drum und Dran (kleine Küche mit Bartisch und Barstühlen, beheizter kleiner Swimmingpool, Sauna, Sonnenliegen mit Matratze, überdachte Terrasse und sehr „große“ offene Sonnenterrasse mit Blick auf Meer und Berge. Es gibt große Badetücher sind vorhanden, aber auch klein ... es gibt nichts, was sie nicht haben 😁. Es ist ein ruhiges Dorf mit freundlichen Bewohnern. Sie können lokalen Rotwein kaufen und es gibt einen kleinen Laden.
Ohne Auto kommt man hier nicht hin. Um zum Haus zu gelangen, muss man zunächst hundert Stufen hinaufsteigen, was aber nicht weiter schlimm war und auch unserer körperlichen Verfassung zugute kam.
Wenn Sie es ruhig haben möchten, ist dies im Vergleich zum Süden Teneriffas, wo es Massentourismus und viel Lärm in der Nacht gibt, sehr zu empfehlen.
